In-Domus is an Italian operator specialised in Purpose-Built Student Accommodation in Milan. We support students through one of the most delicate and formative transitions of their lives: leaving the family home and stepping into true independence. For us, a student residence is not just a place to sleep, but a living environment designed to educate, protect and foster responsibility.
We were founded with a clear mission: to make the right to education truly accessible through high-quality housing solutions designed exclusively for students. This means creating safe, well-regulated and welcoming environments where university life can develop in a balanced way—combining study, relationships, wellbeing and personal growth.
Today, In-Domus manages three campuses in Milan — Milano Internazionale, Milano Olympia and Milano Monneret — with over 1,000 beds in operation, representing approximately 25% of the city’s private PBSA market. This established presence is supported by a development pipeline focused on measured, coherent growth, always centred on Milan and on the real needs of students.
Our model is built on a simple yet rigorous principle: a residence is a community. For this reason, In-Domus properties are dedicated exclusively to students and do not adopt hybrid hospitality or hotel-style models. A stable, homogeneous and international community enhances integration, safety and quality of everyday life, creating an environment where students can feel part of something—without ever being forced to participate.
We believe that the university experience goes far beyond lecture halls. Shared spaces, study areas, gyms, sports activities and community initiatives are an integral part of our housing model. At the same time, we deeply respect individual freedom: campus life is an opportunity, not an obligation. Everyone is free to choose their own pace, level of involvement and personal balance.
The origins of In-Domus under the aegis of Fondazione Cariplo have shaped an approach grounded in responsibility, transparency and social impact. These values continue to guide our governance and operational decisions, informing a model that combines economic sustainability, quality of experience and a long-term vision.
In-Domus is, above all, a place of transition: a space where students learn to live together, take care of themselves and others, and manage everyday responsibilities. An environment that supports growth without replacing it—offering structure without rigidity, and support without intrusion.
In-Domus
More than student housing.
A place to grow.
A space where students become adults, with structure, care and responsibility.
